Daniel A. Powers

– Attorney –

Prior to joining Babcock Moore & Lambert, Daniel interned for multiple law firms in the Hampton Roads area and received hands on experience in real estate law, government contract procurement, and civil litigation. Notably, Daniel also interned for Judge Gregory Bane at Hampton Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court and the Hampton Commonwealth Attorney’s Office.

Daniel began his time at Babcock Moore & Lambert as a law clerk where he gained experience in insurance defense and civil litigation. Daniel has transitioned into his new role as an attorney and is using his skills to advocate for those who cannot effectively advocate for themselves.

Originally from New Hampshire, Daniel has lived in Virginia for the past 10 years where he served as a United States Marine Corps reservist while attending Regent University for his undergraduate studies.  Upon completion of his undergraduate studies, Daniel attended Regent University School of Law where he was a member of the trial advocacy team.   Although a “yankee” at heart, Daniel has grown to love the history and outdoor activities that Virginia offers. Daniel enjoys spending his time sailing, fishing, attending his local church, and spending time with his cat, Tuna.
